Christine Castañon, a seasoned storyteller and theatrical performer lacked any serious musical training but started toying with the idea of writing music when she showed a friend some of her poems. Some of Christine's songs can be heard on the Emmy nominated The Empowerment Project, a documentary about women excelling in their chosen fields. And the newly released documentary, Losing Sight of Shore; another tale of women overcoming intense odds.
