This is one of our favorite cartoons since Wonder Woman. The fantastic weirdos of DJ Faucet re-dubbed an ad for a depression drug that’s so funny it could probably cure depression. We already watched this like 6 times and we’re gonna watch it again.
Team, is it just us or has SNL gotten weirder this season? And when we say weirder, we mean better. It’s not just the political sketches – the writing is sharper and more surprising and also even more feminasty than last year. For example, this super strange and dumb funny sketch about commercials aimed at women. We’re all CHONK, ladies. We’re all… CHONK.
We wish Allison Janney was in every movie and on every tv show. You might think that’s an exaggeration but honestly, can you think of one film that wouldn’t be improved by adding Allison Janney? One show that couldn’t stand a dose of the Jannster? Yeah nah didn’t think so. She’s a wildly talented actor, funny as hell, and honestly seems like she’s really fun to hang out with. Plus, she makes us feel so calm when she’s on screen. So go watch her on Mom tonight, and watch our playlist of some of her greatest hits. Hooray for Allison!
Emilia Clarke doesn’t get a lot of opportunities to be funny playing Daenerys on Game of Thrones. Which is a crying damn shame if you ask us, because the woman is so so funny. She shines in interviews and she slays in sketches, and we’re 100% ready for her to host SNL and be in every buddy comedy movie. She’s gonna be the Khaleesi of Comedy someday, and while we wait for that to happen let’s all watch this playlist of a few of her greatest moments.
Are you ready for an early Christmas present? For the next twelve weeks Seeso is gonna be posting new stand-up specials every Thursday, and they got some amazing comics to sign on. We’re talking Janeane Garofalo, we’re talking Jena Friedman, we’re talking Tyree Elaine, we’re talking 90 DANG COMEDIANS. They’re mostly exclusive to the streaming service, so you gotta sign up if you’re ready to get those giggles.
Plus, Seeso already has some amazing comedy specials available for subscribers, like Marriage Material from Cameron Esposito. And since it’s streaming, you can watch it on your laptop at work. Not that… we would do that or anything. Just hypothetically.
3 serious lawyers. The case of a lifetime. International human rights in the balance. The smooth dreaminess of triple churned milk chocolate. Wait hold up what?
The brilliant weirdos behind sketch team Massive Dad have nailed the strangeness of women in commercials. Ads would have you all believe we’re either horny animals rubbing coffee cups against our boobs, or adorable neutered child-women prancing around shitting rainbows and probiotics. Or some even more horrifying combo of the two. Y’all, sometimes a chocolate bar is just a chocolate bar.
