This truly is one of the great underrated SNL moments. When Leslie Jones gets to star in a sketch, she consistently slays it. Like in this insanely weird sketch where she plays a woman with a unique spin on the When Harry Met Sally orgasm scene. It makes us want a Leslie J movie, tbh.
Look, every comedian bombs at some point. Even the incredibly hilarious and talented Leslie Jones. But not every comedian has the ovaries to pick themselves back up and get nominated for a damn Emmy, and that Leslie definitely has. This interview is perfect, and hearing Leslie J talk about bossing stage managers around is the balm we need right now.
We have mad love for Leslie J. The woman’s been on the comedy grind since forever, and it shows. She’s one of the funniest, realest, hardest working people in Hollywood, and she’s slayed the game in everything from SNL to Ghostbusters to adorable interviews.
And since it’s her birthday, we thought we’d put together a few top Leslie moments to celebrate! We got the standup from waaaay back, late night talk show segments, sketches, Olympics coverage and best of all just Leslie being Leslie.
