Well, well, well… who knew we’d survive 2017? 2018 is mere hours away and one of our faves, Siobhan Thompson, is here with the best tips for having the perfect New Year’s Eve. Okay, so many not perfect, but good enough. Like, okay. A very okay New Year’s Eve that might end with you being alone in a dress that is not comfortable whatsoever and drinking flat champagne you paid $38 for at an overcrowded sweaty bar. At least you’ll have a super cute photo on Instagram that makes it look like you were living your best life and don’t totally regret the $100 Uber ride and most of your choices this past year. CHEERS!
Ceda Xiong is so funny it hurts. Her standup has taken her all over the dang country, and she’s performed at festivals and colleges and bars and everything in between. Partly we love her because she’s a fearless badass, and partly we love her because she can make anything hilarious, from immigration to her family to mattress fires. We’re so stoked that she’s our creator of the week, stay tuned for more from Ceda on our Twitter and Facebook! The more Ceda the betta, honestly.
When it comes to talking up Teresa Lee, we’re basically fanatics. She can do literally anything, from writing to directing to acting to stand-up to looking fly af in every single picture. We love her work, and we love her fearless and hilarious comedic voice. She’s a badass for sure, and we’re so excited to have her as our creator of the week. So watch some of her greatest videos, then keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook for more Teresa magic.
Let’s get this straight: Megan Mullally is one of the most talented people ever to live. She can sing like a motherhugger, she’s funny as all get out, and she’s a genuinely great actor. Add to that woodworking, dancing, puzzle making, and a million other things, and she’s basically an entertainment machine. We love Megan, and this video playlist is our lil love letter to her. Thanks for all the giggles!
Gray’s Anatomy. Private Practice. Bad Judge. The Hotwives of Orlando. Under The Tuscan Sun. They’re not just hella fun movies and TV shows directed/produced/written by women. They’re also tv shows and movies that were given glorious glittering life by our absolute favorite, Kate Walsh.
She’s had the coolest career, from doing sketch comedy in New York to being one of Shondaland’s reigning queens with a perfume line and a buncha businesses. A true hilarious bamf. So to celebrate Kate on this, the day of her birth, we put together a playlist of some of her greatest moments. It’s our little gift to you.
We all know Mindy Kaling is funny and adorable. But sometimes we’re guilty of forgetting that she’s also a hard core badass. She’s been an executive producer, writer, and director on The Office, and she single-handedly created The Mindy Project. She also reps hard for comedians of color, and she’s a real role model for funny women everywhere. TL:DR – we love Mindy and you should too. Now watch this playlist, you nerds!
