And now for something extremely different. This is a sketch based on the picture on the mudflaps of the trucks of a company that only people who live in Los Angeles will know. And it’s friggin hilarious. Thank you to the women who wrote, directed, and performed in this, you took us to places we never even dreamed of.
This sketch was cut for time from SNL a couple weeks ago, but we just can’t seem to cut it from our hearts. Don’t act like you don’t want to hang out with Kate, Vanessa, and Kristen and just like goddess around. Plus also Kristen is every one of us in a meeting, having a dope idea and talking it down. Let your flamingos fly, ladies!!!
This Christmas carol from the precious adorable nerd singer/songwriters The DoubleClicks is so dang catchy, we’d go door to door singing it for sure. The geekly sisters sing about how far they’d go to be with their loved one during the holidays, and if you catch all the references than honestly you’re a better nerd than we are.
She’s all about women’s rights, she’s a spooky talented actor, and she’s also clearly a genuinely nice and lovely person. We’ve got a lot of love in our hearts for Felicity Huffman. So we put together a birthday playlist in honor of this renaissance lady, because the more Huffman in our lives the better, honestly.
Kinda feels like we’ve had enough White Christmases. What with the election and also just the state of America in general, it’s time for a Woke Christmas. Lucky for us, the hilarious Carla Valderrama created an X-mas anthem that celebrates wokeness in all its beautiful forms.
PS: Damn, ya girl’s got pipes!
City living is pricy. It feels like two thirds of our paychecks are just going to restaurants. And don’t even get us started on the expensive museums!
Thank goodness Kimmy Wilkins (aka Jessica Leigh Gonzales) is here to show us how to get the neatest deals on looking at art in Los Angeles. Spoiler alert: ya gotta get underground!
