Woman Crush Wednesday: Kerry Washington

Hello hey hi welcome to the Kerry Washington fan club. First order of business: talking about all the reasons we love Kerry Washington. She’s so talented, she’s so funny, she’s so badass, and we want to hang out with her all the damn time. She’s a friggin hero, so naturally we had to make her our Wednesday woman crush.

Nicole Kidman is Our Wednesday Woman Crush

Nicole Kidman doesn’t get enough credit. Well yeah she has an Oscar and a Bafta and like 15 Emmy’s. But we’re talking about getting credit for being really, really funny. She knocks us dead in every interview, and she has this classy way of delivering jokes that make them like 10 times funnier. So give it up for the original Ozzie American sweetheart, aka our Wednesday woman crush!

Wednesday Woman Crush: Abigail Breslin

Abigail Breslin has already had an insanely successful career AND SHE’S ONLY 20! She slayed the screen in Little Miss Sunshine, she made us weep all over the place in August Osage County, and she’s so perfect in Scream Queens. In tribute to this lil baddie, we put together a few clips of her being wonderful. Happy Wednesday!

TBT: Young Lucille Ball Tearing Up The Dance Floor

Everyone knows Lucille Ball was hilarious. But did you know she was the first female head of a production company, and that she basically created the sitcom format of filming in front of a live audience?

Also DID YOU KNOW that she could sing and dance like a mo fo? Girl could werk. We found this scene from Dance, Girl, Dance, a film that was released in 1940 (aka before Lucy was famous), and we just had to share. #Flawless

Melissa McCarthy Is Literal Perfection

Ok so not to be too poetic about it, but Melissa McCarthy is one of those rare shining lights of comedy that could make us laugh just by sitting in a chair. Every single thing she does is friggin hilarious, whether it’s an interview or a movie or some goofy SNL sketch. We are so lucky to have her in our lives, and we made this playlist as a reminder that the woman can’t not be funny.
