Our favorite animator Leigh Lahav is back, with a tasty little bit of fan-fiction that imagines how the new Doctor might react to being a lady. Will she immediately start kicking feminist ass? Or will she have to deal with every Dalek and Cyberman and rogue Time Lord asking for the ‘man of the house’? Unfortunately we have to wait til next fall to find out, but at least we have this short to tide us over until then.
Alright it’s after Thanksgiving, let the holiday comedy begin. Our forever woman crush Leigh Lahav co-wrote and animated this amazing tribute to Charlie Brown and Stranger Things with collaborator Oren Mendez, and it’s just everything we like in one dark festive package.
Oh also the pint-size voice actors are Alex Jebb Quine, Dylan Neumeyer, Nicholas Polley, and Rylan Bailey. At their age we were pretty much only good for opening up Otter-Pops wrong, honestly mad that they’re that talented.
Call it a first world problem if you want, but waiting for a movie to come out is the WORST THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Seriously – why even bother to announce a premiere date if it’s literally years away. We hate it. The struggle is so real, and Leigh Lahav perfectly animates every feeling we experience.
