Karina E. Gomez, graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Performing Arts before making the leap to Los Angeles for film. She received her MFA in Film and Television Production at USC with an emphasis on editing and sound. She's cut for JKV.go web series on YouTube (that she co-created with long time collaborator Janette L. Gomez) amongst other freelance work including student films, USC television series, and a short documentary. She’s currently an assistant editor for Supper Club post house. She's excited to be one of the editors for this paranormal film Boo Hag or Shadow Man! This isn't her first brush with the occult. Back in 2016, Karina traveled to New Orleans and tapped on the grave of Voodoo priestess Marie Laveau, who was rumored to grant wishes. A year later she was accepted into the film program of her choice. Coincidence?
Janette L. Gomez, is a Mexican-American filmmaker from the Bay Area. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Communications. While pursuing her degree, she wrote, directed, and edited for JKV.go web series on YouTube with longtime collaborator, Karina E. Gomez, parodying their favorite shows and gained a good following. Janette received her MFA in Film and Television Production at USC School of Cinematic Arts with an emphasis in editing and sound. While at USC, she has edited student films, USC television series (s), and a short documentary amongst other freelance work. She's currently an Assistant Editor for Supper Club Studios.
Alexandria Candelas has worked in theatre, film and TV as a seamstress, designer, and set costumer. Alex is currently in Austin working as a set costumer for Fear the Walking Dead and Hypnotic. Boo Hag or Shadow Man was Alex’s first credit as a costumer and she is so grateful for the experience and to work with this wonderful cast and crew.
Alexandra Langell is a production designer and artist based in Los Angeles, California. She has an advanced study associates degree in entertainment set design and decoration as well as an associates of arts degree in visual communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Her passions lie in production design and graphic design. She loves the process of telling a story through design and being able to take the viewer on a
