Jonterri Gadson

Jonterri Gadson is a 2018 American Black Film Festival | Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud Network Film Fellow for her comedic short, Bliss House, which premiered at the American Black Film Festival in June 2018. She is also a 2018 Big Vision Empty Wallet Fellow for the development of TV series and she will attend the 2018 New York Stage and Film Filmmakers' Workshop at Vassar in July 2018 to receive mentorship and development of her original half hour comedy pilot, Blurs, which was named the Best Comedy Script at the 2017 New York Television Festival, where her web series pitch was awarded a development deal with Topic/First Look Media. She was chosen for the Refinery 29/TBS Riot Comedy Writers Lab in December 2017. She wrote for an all-female comedy show called The Box in New York City. In 2016, she was selected for the NBC Late Night Writers Workshop and she currently directs a Boogie Manja sketch comedy team that puts up new live shows every month at the People's Improv Theater.
